Welcome to Glaucoma North East

Mr David Lunt is a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the North East of England. He specialises in Cataract Surgery, and all aspects of outpatient, laser and surgical care for patients with or at risk of developing Glaucoma. He is a full time NHS consultant at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he is the service lead. 

David is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and on the General Medical Council’s specialist register. He is a member of several expert groups including the UK and Eire Glaucoma Society, The European Glaucoma Society and the World Glaucoma Association.  

His specialist ophthalmic training has been in North East England, Scotland, and at the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London.
